Reclaimed Press publishes ebook editions of older books on mysticism, the Hermetic tradition, alchemy and philosophy. Every title is in the public domain in the United States. Most are English translations first published before 1930, and that date is the one that matters: an ancient text is free to reissue, but a modern translation of it is not.
Each edition is set from a scan of one specific printed book. We name that book on the product page and in the ebook itself, say what was left out and why, and keep the author's text as it was printed, spelling and punctuation included. Where the original has engravings, seals or diagrams, they are restored as images inside the ebook.
The ebooks are EPUB files with no DRM. They open in Apple Books, Google Play Books, Kobo and most reading apps, and Kindle owners can load them with Amazon's Send to Kindle.
When a title has an audiobook edition, it is narrated with modern text-to-speech, and its product page says so.
